The Player has some killer dance moves.

1st Prize can draw shapes in diagonal and vorizontal lines needless to say he's getting the hang of it (take that AI "Artists!" this fella can actually draw!")

Arts and crafters, even though they are a student, they often give out positive art tips for people who are wanting to draw.

Badsum can play the violin beautifully.

Gotta sweep can somehow play guitar.

Pinkcipal is a lot like the Principal except he's too kind and affectionate and a tiny bit fem.

The year in the game is always stuck at 1999 hence why the cast don't age.

Beans sometimes makes sculptures out of his gum. gross.

Cloudy copter is not solid it's kinda soft but still not solid.

The Principal used to play baseball when he was younger which is probably why in some baldi mods the people behind the mods give the Principal a baseball bat.

Susan would have that same Nasaly voice that Baldi has but slightly more higher pitch and feminine.

Arts and Crafters despises AI generated art

Null/Filename 2 treats Red Baldloon like a weird dog.

1st Prize would definatly run a stall to help people with relationship problems and would give out advice.

Bladder likes to draw the BBIEAL cast as a form of apprietiation for giving him a new home within the walls of the schoolhouse.

Hello. A while ago, I said I would bring my analyses about Null Baldi's Basics originally posted on Twitter here. Well, I'll be doing this now. The following is my first analysis ever, where I wrote about Null's behavior.

Frustration does not equal hating someone.

[Trying to understand Null's behavior.]

Ever since I entered the community, I have noticed a little detail: it appears that most of the people have entered into a mutual consensus that Null feverishly hates the player.

I genuinely think that's not the case. At all.

Analyzing his apparitions throughout the game, one event always happens – Null warning about the game, telling the player to quit “before it's too late”, “before something bad happens” and “before something terrible happens to you [the player]” and to destroy it in its entirety.

That's his utmost priority, make sure the player leaves the game and never returns. Hence why he pleads for you to trust him and listen to him despite the inability to fully express what is the supposed danger lurking around Baldi's Basics, something he himself muses over twice:

“I wish I could say more…”(Classic style)

“I wish I could tell you- Just tell you, hehe, but I can't…”(Demo style)

This hints at the possibility that, if it weren't for the glitching plaguing over Null's speeches, he would tell the player what's so wrong with the game but cannot do so because “some stuff is classified” and needs to resort to being intentionally vague.

In Party Style, in the middle of freaking out while the entire school is slowly being swarmed and demolished by the red Baldloons, Null still has a piece of mind to focus on the player and tell you to get out and never touch on the game again. God knows what the hell would happen to him while the schoolhouse is being obliterated but he instead begs for you to leave first.

It's understandable that Null increasingly starts to lose his patience when all of his warnings for the player tend to be ignored or unceremoniously fall flat. Imagine trying to constantly warn someone about an impending danger but they simply don't listen to it? Null could've given up at any certain moment but he doesn't. Even with his frustration and anger, he kept going out of his way just to try and maintain the player away from the game or get you to destroy it.

Yeah, he was being a little shit in Demo style but even so, he goes as far to personally force closing down the game himself just to keep you away from it despite saying he could get in trouble for doing so but does it anyways.

Then, NULL style. At this point, it's crystal clear that Null will stop the player from advancing furthermore and get you to leave the game for once and for all. If resorting to chasing and taunting the player is what needs to be done, then he will do it. Upon closing the last exit, Null once again tries to reason with you and goes into an extensive monologue in order to get you to stop and leave.

But one small detail I personally find kind of interesting is that, despite his patience running thin and becoming more frustrated by the second, he decides to patiently wait for the player to leave the game by themselves. He screams his lungs out and instead of ending everything right and then there, Null is willing to wait for an eternity just for you to quit. Amusing as it is, he even suggests the idea of the player remaining there with the lines of “or you can just… Stay here… [...] While nothing happens” before brushing it aside and saying that you should go ahead and quit the game.

The boss fight solely starts unless the player attacks him first, otherwise, Null wouldn't chase nor attack you, he would (awkwardly) stand there and wait for who knows how long.

Now in the Developer's office, Null goes after you to talk once again. Even though he is extremely angry about the whole ordeal, he manages to calm himself down to probably try to explain why the game needs to be destroyed. If it weren't for the fact that he got snatched from reality in the middle of it, he would go into a heated ramble about either the game, getting the player to leave and destroy it, the “bad thing” or something else. As of now, it is currently unknown what it could be.

Null's frustration isn't born out of hatred, not for the player, but for the fact he cannot get his warnings to be taken seriously. As I mentioned before, imagine having a person messing around something potentially dangerous and you want to make them aware of it but they continuously keep brushing all of it aside as if it meant nothing? I myself would be angry too. All he wanted to do was maintain the player away from the game and get it destroyed because he saw a threat in it. Sadly, his efforts were never recognized nor did they work. Instead, he got sent somewhere. Or died. I prefer to think he's still around somewhere.

When I understood this, it made me confused on why so many people think he genuinely hates the player. He doesn't hate you, he's annoyed and frustrated with you. Frustration does not equal hating someone. If you give out a warning to someone about something, it means you want to make them aware about that. It means caring. It's natural. If he didn't care then why would he bother going out of his way and hassling himself with all of that trouble just to make the player leave and destroy the game? He kept doing that until the very end. Talk about determination (and stubbornness).

No, I won't lie that I don't think about the fun idea of Null and the player beating the shit out of each other but, for me, he mildly so suffers from the curse of a little something called flanderization: the act of taking a certain detail about a character and exaggerating it so much it becomes the only thing prominent about them. That's the case with Null, that his anger is everything about him.

I beg to differ. That man is a walking enigma, we barely know a proper, substantial thing about him. And despite his role in Classic Remastered, the few minutes of his appearances were enough to set down a certain aspect of his personality but that doesn't mean it's all of it. I mean, take a look at his dialogue. Ironically so, he sounds like the conversational type of person, willing to yap your ear off. At the same time, he knows how to be sarcastic and lowkey an asshole but that's what makes him special. Sometimes, he even sounds kind of awkward, not really knowing what to say next.

Hell, I am talking about the guy who says “jeepers” unironically!! Like, who does that? He's a weirdo, he's a goddamn dork and got himself sent to the contraption because he cared so much. That was his mistake, he cared.

Meanwhile I don't really care about the people who HC's him hating the player, that's just a little nitpick of mine. I might be bullshittting even. I miss him.

tl;dr: guy aggressively cares about your goofy ass but gets himself fucking killed

if red baldloon was forbidden from eating cake, what would it eat instead? how does it feel about hot dogs? how does it feel about queer people? does it prefer to bite or scratch and why? if it had to torment someone other than baldi, who would it pick? how does it feel about null?

- cupcakes, or any other sweet-tasting food - neutral on the hot dog, would eat it. might prefer hot dog over burger? funny tube shape - it doesn't care - loves to bite. sinking teeth is more satisfying than scratching. harder to dislodge - badsum, its actions would be out of a cold anger instead - sees null much like how you'd view some tiny harmless pest that's come into your house. like a fly. what is he doing buzzing around in here. its observing him. he doesn't belong but it's not actually trying to drive him out or anything. despite that, it sees his presence as something helpful as players activate its trigger and he's a popular figure

Baldi's Basics Headcanons that will never be canon but are funny to think about because they're living rent free in my brain

Playtime has extreme zoomies, like when something exciting happens she runs all over the walls and ceilings in the schoolhouse so fast not even the Principal could catch her, she's too fast!

Bully only bullies the player and not the other students because if he were to bully Playtime or Arts and Crafters he'd feel bad but with the player he don't care not even a tiny bit.

If the Principal were to open his eyes i think it would have a medusa kind off effect except he doesn't turn anyone into stone instead strikes fear into those who break the rules.

Since Johnny is the shop-keeper i think he would be also a school faculty member like the other staff, like he's the only teen who works in the faculty.

Gotta sweep would have an ability to switch broom brushes by jumping out of one so he's just the pole and jumps ans twists onto another.

Baldi since he's an Anim8tor model would have the ability to take parts of his body off with no blood or gore necessary but is there for comedic affect and don't worry he can easy re-attach them because his arms and legs are segmented.

Gotta sweep's heritage consists of cleaning products like mops, brooms and farm reapers.

1st prize's hands specifically his fingers would have some form of articulation where he can grip.

Dr. Reflex has seen how some people compare him to rodents and he takes quite offense to that.

Joe would be the one character that would make some memorable cameos kinda like Stan Lee in the marvel movies.

Mrs. Pomp's is more easly quick to anger than Baldi or Dr Reflex.

The Baldloons can phase through walls like actual ghosts and mostly travel in groups of five with Red considered the leader.

Null/Filename2 can communicate to his crab bink easily.

When Null/Filename 2 Sneezes he reveals his skin for a brief second.

Baldi and Principal made the murals in the detention room with the principal's mural being written by Baldi while Baldi's mural being written by the principal.

Baldi would have vivid memories of Susan and Andrew but are usually a blur

The other head's on Red Baldloon's body imitate the main head's expressions

The Baldloons can shape-shift into other people in the schoolhouse the only difference is that they can't change color or remove the party hats.

Red Baldloon loves to eat the walls, doors, entirety of the schoolhouse when he has the chance.

if something goes horribly wrong in the schoolhouse to the point where everyone has to evacuate, Principal would rush in and get baldi holding him birdal style and Baldi thanking him by showering Principal in kisses leaving read lipstick marks.

Baldi would hug the principal too tightly making a cracking noise in the principal's spine.

If the principal were asleep in his office, baldi would come in say goodnight and give him a little kiss on the forehead.

Back to our regularly sceduled programming

The Test would carry around the chalkboard where chalkes is currently on so chalkles wouldn't have to fly off somewhere

Mrs Pomp's head is removable so she can be able to have either an actual body or another shoe.

Johnny's store has an underground break room area the entrance being behind the counter and johnny just chills in there until johnny gets another customer.

Whenever Mrs.Pomp smokes she usually blows the smoke in Baldi's face mainly for the fun of it.

Playtime plays those early 2000's girl web browser games on her laptop or on the school computer.

When Gotta sweep is on duty he likes to sing random songs when no one else is looking and lemme say his singing is awful.

Baldi and Badsum have articulated limbs meanwhile Bladder has rubberhose limbs.

Baldi picks Playtime up like a teddy bear meanwhile he picks up the player by the back of their backpack holding them in the air.

Beans would somehow be able to blow bubbles like Hungern from skullgirls.

Bink would switch to making inaudible noises to a few words sometimes.

If Mrs Pomp had a proper body i feel like Baldi would try and help her retain her balance.

When Baldi Catches the player he just gives them a little bonk on the head from his ruler nothing graphic.

If Baldi were ever to get stabbed he wouldn't feel the pain and would giggle like something tickled him.

When the Player gets bonked on the head by Baldi their eyes turn into little spirals with the items you see on the game over screen flying around their head like a cartoon character. When the school becomes red and the player gets caught the eyes would be replaced by little X's. If they were caught by null or the baldloon their eyes would glitch out severly.

Playtime rides on a little red bike to the schoolhouse.

Baldi and Bully have a good throwing range.

Baldi Headcanons i thought would be funny

Baldi is single-handedly responsible for the creation of Clocki (that baldi with a clocki for a head) by trying to clone himself but accidentally threw a clock in one of his machines resulting in Clocki's creation.

Baldi has this ability aside from hearing, he is oddly calm about encountering either the Baldloons, Badsum, Bladder, DSCI_0000, NINENINE.

Baldi is the exact opposite of the principal since the principal is usually serious and monotone, whilst baldi is silly and cartoony.

Baldi is unnaturally strong, like he can lift the largest person or thing in the room with ease.

Baldi can fit into REALLY tight spaces, even a suitcase!

Baldi Showers with his clothes on for some reason.

Baldi secretly has teeth but can only be seen if he's biting his mailbox.

If baldi were to swear he would censor himself with his jumpscare noise.

He would definitely make those large cartoon sandwiches like in scooby doo.

He never gets angry at Playtime, Bully, Arts and Crafters, Beans. only the player.

Baldi and Susan act the same goofy manner.

He would definately be one of those people who go "Mmmwah!" when he were to kiss someone both platonicly and romantically

Red Baldloon headcanons because i love that glitchy goober

Since they are just a glitchy monster, i feel like they would have cat/dog tendencies when meeting someone they haven't seen before. like if someone in the school house aside from the player ever found them Red would have either a fight or flight response to being found.

They rarely smile and only do that if they are close to someone that they really like.

They never blink. ever.

Their appetite consists of the walls, floors, ceiling, chalk sometimes, that cake from birthday bash or just sweet stuff in general, school paper.

if someone had a laser pointer it will and won't stop chasing it.

the reason why Red has sharp red nails is because Purple/56 had painted them with nail polish.

Red can't phase through walls like the other Baldloons.

Red does not even know why they scare Null/Filename2 so much.

If Red were to wear clothes i would cut holes around it's torso area so it's other heads can breathe.

The only other character they can only disguise as is Baldi himself.

They are not really a villian they're just misunderstood.

They can replicate voices but when they do it it ends up stuttering and glitchy.

Red really enjoys pats on it's back, it's multiple heads it just likes physical affection. it even purrs.

If someone were to give them a lil smooch, all the heads would fluster up and it would cover it's face.

If Red were to ever meet Bink (Null's crab) they would protect it at all costs.

Red has the same large appetite as baldi.

Red is scared of Playtime, NINENINE, Principal of the thing.

they can loaf.

they often rub their faces on people to test if the person is friendly or not.

If Red ever met Bladder or Badsum, Badsum would scream and cry while Bladder would reach his arms out wanting to pet Red.

They wont hesitate to bite a threat. and lemme tell ya it hurts like getting stabbed with a tazer.

When Red wants to taste something, it sticks out a thin long black tongue like a snake or frog to taste test it.

if one of Red's Heads were to bite a lemon, all of the other heads would taste the sourness and hiss in pain.

Messed up creature, why they like that. I like them. What do they sound like. I swear you mentioned it in a reblog or smth but maybe I imagined it all…

Also Baldi’s opinion on them.

BALDLOON HEADCANONS. OHH MAN i gotta sit for a moment .. i'll try to get as much as i can down i'll start with the General Baldloons since they're the shortest

the baldloons aren't exactly sentient creatures by the likes baldi, null, or red baldloon. to an extent, they're just kind of there? reflecting how their purpose in-game is nothing more than to drift about aimlessly and be counted and for red baldloon-specific headcanons: messed up. utterly messed up and i don't know why. before going on i have to show its lines

it's laughter being one of the few fully comprehensible things it says is deranged to me. anyway (excited) highly fascinated with birthdays. parties, happiness, celebration of life, the whole idea of it. it's favorite holiday by a long shot ! it will be friendly and nice for a birthday party has many lines to insinuate it is playful and childish .. it likes to play around. play gameeee it/its pronouns (at least when i talk about it), it is just a creature however, despite the behavior i portray it with (i.e the creature characteristics. being a little animal) it is properly sapient. it just acts like that because it can. there are no consequences for its actions. why be polite and civilized when it has the capability of destroying everything? what is anyone going to do about it ? nothing that's right. it's going to hit you over the head for fun if it wants. like a catr .. it is also quite selfish, operating entirely on it's own whims and feelings. everything it does depends on if it wants to do it, or if it doesn't (though there isn't exactly a reason for it to think of anything other than itself) the current thought i have running that is definitely not canon but funny to me anyway: it's the one who skinned null, hence why he's so afraid of it. not sure how or why this it's pretty flimsy. it just did that another thought i have running (but still not entirely solid, but more solid than the other) is that red baldloon's existence is the byproduct of null and baldi simply existing within the same game. it was something that was not meant to occur, thus it's corruption - it sees null as the 'bad' parts of itself, its corrupted state and aggressive behavior ((despite null himself not being aggressive)) - and for something very important about its viewpoint: how it sees baldi. it sees baldi as the healthy 'good' part of itself, and it treats him differently for this reason. it is the only thing it would want to offer an ounce of consideration towards, and at the worst, it would save his destruction for last ("your fears") "what do they sound like" i like to think it's voice would have a few different qualities to it ... bit-crushed, corrupted, overlapping with other voices, etc. and for some voice capabilities, i like to think it can replay audio / things it's heard previously! it would just end up really crunched, but it could playback a nice little song for you baldi's opinion on them. Oue; it's quite a complicated subject for him. ingame, red baldloon could essentially be everything he is afraid of. it is the most visual representation of the corruption and destruction of his game; while null keeps telling the player to destroy the game red baldloon is the one thing that can and will do that. something so terrifying, yet is so much like him. faces of his own that look back at him, and still so so different it's its own person afraid of it, concerned, yet it seems to make an active effort to get along with him ... he'll try to get along with it as well, placate it ((sorry this part specifically is really messy i've never put it into this many words before LOL)) "can all of the heads have the delight of eating?" yes. and not only do they have the delight of eating but it has a favorite food! as a base, it loves anything sweet, and when narrowed down it loves pastries, and LOVES loves cake. it absolutely despises cheesecake because it thought it would be like a normal cake and it was fooled. it is also capable of indulging in other things, but that's what it likes the best it also likes to try and bake. sucked ass at it at first, but it will improve and make nice little pastries ! beforehand baldi would have to keep baking them himself to give to it (((("baldi, it's 4am, why are you making a cake?" "because i've lost control of my life."))))

if red baldloon came back for bb+ how would you feel? what role do you think it could take? would it be better for it to stay outside of plus (like exclusive to classic, bdaybash, bbcr) or not? let me know your thoughts!

if red baldloon came back i think i would be very happy just by the virtue of it being my favorite, but really, it's going to very largely depend on how it's used if it were i think it would serve the same role it did in bbbb/bbcr as a destructive force, obviously, since that's its whole deal, but i'm not too sure how that would go with the v.1+ lore being something that doesn't interrupt game-play ... that guideline goes against what it does where it is directly affecting your game and generally how its actions are always 'in your face and yelling at you' style (at least when it comes to the player) i think the function it serves in bbbb/bbcr works out very well due to the fact those games aren't exactly replayable in the same way bb+ is, and it would be hard to incorporate into bb+ ... so my conclusion is that it may be better as an exclusive
